Established in 2017 and proudly rooted in Bellevue, Washington, we are a local, independent firm committed to delivering high-quality, personalized tax, consulting, and compliance services. CLIENT SERVICES
TAX PLANNING & PREPARATION
We provide tax planning and preparation including developing tax strategies that take advantage of new tax laws and legislation, and charitable tax planning.
ESTATE & TRUST TAX PREPARATION
We work with the personal representative, executor or trustee to coordinate information and prepare various fiduciary tax returns.
IRS REPRESENTATION
We represent clients before the various federal and state tax agencies in a variety of matters including IRS exams, waiver of penalties, and state filing requirements.
ESTATE PLANNING
Effective estate planning facilitates the orderly transfer of assets to your beneficiaries, provides security for your surviving spouse, and can reduce or eliminate the tax due on the transfer of your assets.
ACCOUNTING SERVICES

Accounting services for family LLCs, family partnerships, foundations, and trusts (excluding review and audit services).

Bill paying, collections, and bookkeeping services for individuals, their families, and their entities.
CHARITABLE GIVING AND PLANNING
Our firm helps you incorporate your family values into your lifetime and estate charitable planning. We work with various charitable entities including donor-advised funds, private foundations, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and 501(c)(3) charities.

Josh grew up in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. After undergrad, he began his career in 2007 in the tax department of a large, regional CPA firm in Philadelphia. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2011, he co-founded Alpine in 2017 with Joan Albee. His areas of expertise include tax planning for individuals, trusts, and the complexities of real estate centric investments/businesses.
Outside of work, Josh is kept busy by his two daughters and golden retriever. In his free time, he enjoys movies, cooking new recipes, sailing, and trying new restaurants.

Jenn has been working in the field of accounting for the last ten years. Her career started in bookkeeping and then shifted to tax when she joined Alpine in 2020. She has since completed her CPA certification.

She grew up in the greater Seattle area and has since relocated to Whidbey Island with her partner and daughter after purchasing a restaurant in Coupeville.
​
In her free time, she likes to travel, spend time with her family, and take advantage of the beautiful mountains and beaches that Washington State has to offer.

JIE LIN

Lin was working on her full professional qualification into the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK qualification) while in Singapore when prompted to relocate with her husband to the Seattle area in late 2010. Upon landing, she changed direction to obtaining her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. She worked at two firms in downtown Seattle prior to joining Alpine P.S. CPAs in 2019 specializing.

During her spare time, she enjoys traveling to the Vancouver B.C. area for great Asian cuisine as well as spending time with her husband and two rescued Greyhounds.

LIZ HESKETH

Elizaveta ("Liz") Hesketh received her first university degrees in Russia, specializing in teaching, and worked as a teacher for a couple of years. After moving to Canada, Liz decided to pursue studies in accounting, earning a graduate degree in accounting from McGill University in Montreal. In Canada Liz headed a small business in an accounting capacity. After moving to the United States, Liz started working in public accounting and obtained her CPA license. Prior to joining Alpine PS. CPAs Liz worked at both small and a large, multi-national accounting firms.
In her free time Liz enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, cooking and exploring Seattle markets, parks, and neighborhoods.

JOAN ALBEE

Joan has been practicing public accounting since 1980 and co-founded Alpine in 2017. Joan has significant experience assisting high net worth family groups, individuals, partnership, trust, and corporate tax clients with tax planning, estate planning, and compliance matters. Joan's interests outside the office include spending time with her family, skiing, and enjoying time at her cabin on Henry Island in the San Juan Islands.

Maggie moved to Seattle from Shanghai in 2008 and joined Alpine in January 2025. Before relocating to the United States, she built a career as an account executive in the marketing departments of several major newspapers and at Shanghai TV Station. After raising two children, she pursued her passion for finance and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in accounting in 2015.

Outside the office, Maggie loves traveling with her husband and children, immersing herself in new cultures, and sampling local cuisines wherever they go.
